Here are some of the pieces I created. All of the pieces on this page were created via algorithm. I use Supercollider, Processing and Audacity. These all represent a captured moment that can never be reproduced, due to the randomness built in the algorithm, or the actions I performed. Were I to perform any of these again, it would sound different. Some use samples, some use generated sound and some use actual sounds I created while the piece was being created. Some algorithms respond to gestured performed on the laptop (keys pressed, mouse moved). All of these explore contrasting forces: control vs. randomness, acoustic vs. electronic, written vs. improvised. I hope you enjoy at least some of these.
