i attended a martial arts demonstration today at a lake side park...quite nice. my teacher was there as was his teacher - a very old chinese man, who played tai ji quite beautifully...
it was both inspiring, educational and a bit frustrating - it was great for an extended period of time just to watch - i could really see the fluidity and i hope i can bring this into my own forms. frustrating, in the sense that i see how far i have to go...
as i said in a post when i first started, i love the expression that most seem to use - the phrase "play tai ji" - somehow that seems so right and i think is a great outward verbal expression of the internal attitude/philosophy of tai ji.
