finished grades yesterday - had a meeting today and commencement tomorrow - then i am done for the summer. the last time i had this extended of time off reagan was president (heck - maybe it was carter)...

anyhow, lest you fear i am bored i have a number of things on the plate: finishing an article about electronic portfolio, finishing the biology "identify-the-yuck" simulation i am working on, working on blog grant, revising our curriculum, working on my backstroke, painting our living room - plus whatever items my wife has on her not inconsequential list...

i have learned i *need* work. this has been the most important self-discovery i've found. when i worked as a software developer, i never thought that way, now i do...
