spring break ruined me. i felt energetic and ambitious prior to it, since it lethargic and apatehtic. when i am not working, i have no clue what to do.
for the past two years, for the summer, i worked at nasa. i won't be doing that this year (at least not on a full-time basis). i have mixed feelings about it. and the cruel irony is that having time to take an extended vacation equates with not having the money to do it. weighing options including teaching classes, taking classes, working on my tan and various combinations.
a mighty wind, is one of the funniest movies i've seen in, like, forever....

lastly, my new favorite show is wonderfalls. can't say enough good things about it: witty, fun, warm, ironic and not sappy. the star, carolyn dhavernas plays it perfect. don't believe me? check out this review from the village voice which includes the fabuluous summation of the series charm:
